Accommodation

  • There are enough hotels and lodging houses in the Subic Bay Freeport area and in Olongapo City. You can directly book with them.
  • The list of our suggested places is found here please link to the site. We made arrangements for discounts starting at 10% for early bird registrants (16 January to 15 March 2018). It is highly recommended that you stay in these places for us to optimize the discounts.
  • Other places who may not be giving discounts to you are found here. (Please note that there are places in our list that are also in this site)

Banking and Medical facilities

  • Most banks are in Subic Bay Freeport and they have medical facilities as well. You can ask from the hotel or lodging house where you are staying as regards the nearest bank to you or you may consult this site.

Concessionaires

  • We will be engaging concessionaires for food and drinks and dry goods.
  • Proceeds from these will be included in the fund to be shared with the Regions for the implementation of Institutionalized National Service Programs/Projects and other service-oriented endeavors that the National Board of Trustees or General Assembly may approve.
  • Get receipts for anything you buy from our Concessionaires to ensure the share of your respective Regions.

Dissemination of information

  • Daily Globe”, a pager of photos and texts, will be made available in hard copies and online. This material will provide you with updates and what to look forward to. Grab one for souvenir!

Entertainment

  • Almost all establishments inside the Subic Bay Freeport and in Olongapo City have entertainment places. Your hotel or your lodging house can definitely guide you.
  • On 19 May 2018 at 1900h/7pm however, please make sure that you are in the President’s and Chairperson’s Night. You would not like to miss the entertainment there and not able to converse the next day with those who will be there.

  • Places to eat are more than enough in Subic Bay Freeport. Satisfy your cravings! Locate them here.

Going to Subic Bay Freeport

Health, Safety and Security

  • We have a Human Security Team to assist us during the event. The contact point will be at the HQ of the GA organizers in Lounge 1. Emergency numbers of our Team will be included in the Delegates’ Kits.
  • The Subic Bay Freeport Hotline/Emergency number is 161. Their services are available in Building 280.

Internet

  • Wi-fi services are available in most establishments. For mobile data subscribers, major networks have good to excellent signals in the Subic Bay Freeport and Olongapo City.

Jaywalking and Traffic Rules

  • Rules on traffic and pedestrians are highly observed in Subic Bay Freeport. Please follow the rules to avoid being apprehended by law enforcers.

Kickoff and Service Day

  • On 17 May 2018, there will be delivery of medical, dental and circumcision services. The location will be posted a month before the Service Day. This will be coupled with planting in a Mangrove area in cooperation with a community-based forest management agreement holder.

Non-smoking policy

  • Subic Bay Freeport has been observing rules on Smoking. With the national law on this, smokers will only be allowed in designated areas.

Transportation

  • Hotels and lodging houses included in list suggested to the delegates will have scheduled trips to and from venue of the General Assembly. There are also taxis available inside Subic Bay Freeport, numbers of which will be included in the Delegates’ Kit.
