How to Get to Angeles City

Pampanga is a mere 1½ hour ride by car or bus from Manila (Balintawak), via the North Luzon Expressway, exiting at the Angeles or Dau Toll Plaza.

With the recent addition of international flights into what was the former U.S. Airforce Base at Clark Field, (renamed the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport - DIMA), getting to Angeles City has never been easier. The airport has adequate travel facilities, a duty free shopping center, souvenir shops, a tourist information center, representatives, and car rental services. The airport is now serviced by the following airlines: Air Asia Zest (from Kuala Lumpur, Tiger Airways & Cebu Pacific (from Singapore and Macau). Dragon Air from Hong Kong and Asiana & Jin Air from Korea with a new direct flight by Qatar Airways to/from Doha.

Various Domestic flights are also offered by Cebu Pacific.

BY PUBLIC BUS

This is the most common and economical way to get to Angeles from Metro Manila. Several air-conditioned bus lines ply the route with terminals scattered across the metropolitan area. From Manila it takes a minimum of approximately one to one and a half hours. Provincial bus companies also offer regularly scheduled trips from Manila to the northern provinces and key cities.

BY PRIVATE CAR

The more comfortable mode of transport from Manila to Angeles City is via car, taking the North Luzon Expressway from the Balintawak expressway entrance and takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour. You may exit at either the Angeles or Dau Exits. Rental car companies with an optional driver can be found all over Manila and Angeles City.
